Currently sitting in the Cathay Pacific Lounge in Hong Kong waiting for my connection to Bangkok.
I was wheels up at 1:35 am on Friday morning and landed Saturday morning Hong Kong time. I slept 9 hours of the 15 hour flight time. 1:35 am is my new favorite flight time. The airport is not crowded and you are so completely exhausted that sleep comes easily.
I was laughing during the pre-flight safety announcement. They have a whole section about "if your electronic device falls between the seats during the flight then don't adjust the seat to retrieve it but call someone for assistance." I feel like there is a whole story we are missing here.

The Cathay Pacific lounge is one of the nicer lounges I've been in.
They have a whole section of little nap pods
A great food selection including a full dining room and ample places to sit.
The tables have little drawers that you pull out to access plugs to charge devices.
It's a quick flight to Thailand. Stay tuned for an update from Bangkok.
