The Netflix shows are downloaded so it's time for another Chris and Henry adventure.
This year's destination... Sri Lanka - that island you've maybe heard of but you are not so sure where it is located.
It's here:
just off the coast of India.
Moving closer to accomplishing 50 by 50, it will be country #47 for Chris and country #4 for Henry. We have a 12 hour flight into Doha followed by a 5 hour flight into Sri Lanka. It's a long way to go for just one country but I have 2 words for you... Monkey Village.
Sri Lanka had a domestic terrorist attack on Easter day. I would be lying if it did not give me pause about traveling. However, the people of Sri Lanka have increased security and are committed to keeping the tourists safe. Honestly, it's probably not any more dangerous than going to school in the US.
